A Little Bit Of This A Little Bit Of That

My friends, I apologize, but I have no new recipes for you today. I’ve been cooking up a storm, yet absolutely nothing, for about two weeks now, has turned out blog worthy. I’ve had only one *EPIC* failure in that time period… which is good.

But.

I’ve got to admit I’ve turned out a lot of ho-hum food. Or bad photos of potentially good food. Either way not ready for you. I feel like the ideas have been good but, I’ve got major tweaking to do before I have fully fleshed out these recipes and photos so that are ready to make their way here to you. In light of that fact, I figured you’d forgive me if I share a few of my fave fall recipes from the archives today. (These recipes are already good my friends!) These are all, warm you, fill you up kind of recipes and I hope they make their way into your kitchen soon. (I know you’ll totally want to be best friends once they do!)

Otherwise, I hope to return to you to our regularly scheduled programing (i.e. brand spanking new recipes) on Friday.

  1. I *hate* it when that happens! Sometimes the food was gorgeous, but it was at night and I couldn’t get a decent photo. Or set up some great shots, only to learn much later that somebody had changed my camera settings so no good photos. Or … but anyway … don’t mind an archives post at all. Will enjoy looking at these posts.

    1. Yes, super frustrating! I’ve got some great photography lights so I can now take pictures at any time of day; personally I find that my issue is usually time to set up and take proper photos. A lot of times I’m trying to take pictures of a dish and then feed it to my family the same night… gets kind of crazy! Certainly hope you enjoy the past favorites!
